Our partnership with the other faith communities of Wilmette is one of the most distinctive aspects of Congregation Sukkat Shalom. We have shared worship space with First Congregational Church of Wilmette, Wilmette Community Church, and the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, but far more importantly than sharing sacred space, we have always been committed to sharing together the sacred tasks of building a better world through celebrating our diversity and uniqueness. Through study, worship, guest scholar classes, social justice programs, and various other activities we continue to learn about each other and create a community of support and understanding. We are currently partnering with First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette in the Family Promise program which provides a home in a synagogue or church to families who are homeless.
