Dinner and Learning to follow services
 

A vital piece of the 6th grade program is participation in Shabbat discussion, dinner, and services throughout the year (please see dates below). Building a strong and cohesive community is an important aspect of the program, and being at services on Shabbat helps to familiarize the students and families to the key prayers and structure of Shabbat worship. Our 6th grade students will meet for Shabbat dinner and learning on two additional Shabbat evenings and one Shabbat morning. We ask that Parents join their child for services. Sibilings are welcome at all services and the learning service/brunch. 

Please add the following dates to your calendar:

• Saturday, Jan. 25th - 10:30 am - 12:00 pm Shabbat morning learning service for parents and 6th grade students followed by a bagel brunch, and time to ask the clergy questions about the service.
• Friday, Feb. 21- 6:30 pm Student Dinner and Learning followed by Shabbat Services at 7:30 pm. Parents please plan to attend services with your 6th grader siblings welcomed, too, dinner is just for the 6th grade students. 
• ​​​​​​​Friday, May 8- 6:00 pm Simply Shabbat service followed by Student Dinner and Learning at 6:45 pm. Parents please plan to attend services with your 6th grader siblings welcomed, too, dinner is just for the 6th grade students.
