Join us for a special Senior Men’s Lunch Group where we will welcome one of our congregation’s closet interfaith partners, Stephanie Perdew VanSlyke, M.Div., Ph.D., Senior Pastor of the First Congregational Church of Wilmette.

Rev. VanSlyke recently returned from a Christian Clergy Mission to Poland to learn about the Jewish history of Poland prior to the Holocaust, including the various rabbinic and Hasidic movements, and to share commemoration and memory at various sites including Treblinka, Madjanek and Auschwitz.

We will meet in the temple Social Hall, where Rev. VanSlyke will share pictures and stories from her travels, as well as discuss the value of missions to such important locations of Jewish history.

Luncheon will feature a salad bar and healthy wraps.
