Wednesday, August 26 at 7:00pm - "Who by Fire, Who by Water: Jewish Response to Plagues." Explore the High Holy Day liturgy of the Unetaneh Tokef prayer and the Jewish response to communal plagues throughout the centuries.
Wednesday, September 2, 7:00pm - "Opening Your Heart with Psalm 27." Psalm 27 is recited daily leading up to the Holy Days as a way to reflect on the past year and look forward to the new year. We’ll join together to study this ancient text and use it to open our hearts and mind for the new year.
Wednesday, September 9, 7:00pm - “Finding Comfort in the Holy Days.” The period leading up to the High Holy Days is called the Seven Weeks of Consolation. Explore how Jewish tradition encourages us to find comfort and hope in the High Holy Day season.
