Many of us who come from Ashkenazi (Eastern European) Jewish families grew up eating charoset made from apples, walnuts, and Manischewitz wine. Did you know that there are many more ways to make charoset that come from Jewish communities around the world such as Iraq, Yemen, Italy, and more!

Join Sukkat Shalom for a Charoset Around the World program on Thursday, April 18, 7:00pm! We'll learn about charoset and its place on the Passover seder table. We'll engage in a Chopped-style charoset making challenge, with a mystery box of ingredients for a charoset recipe. Then, we'll taste! We'll try all of the charosets we made, along with a wine pairing from each region, and other light snacks. The cost of this program is $15 per person; this event is intended for adults. All charosets will be nut-free and gluten-free. Please register below.
