“Address Unknown” by Kathrine Kressmann Taylor

When it first appeared in Story magazine in 1938, this epistolary story became an immediate social phenomenon and literary sensation.  Address Unknown was reissued in book format in 1995 and is also available as an eBook. Copies are available at local libraries and used copies are for sale online (just beware of unauthorized editions). Everything is included in the PDF so you do not need to get the book.  Address Unknown was also adapted for film in 1944 by Columbia Pictures; the DVD is available from local libraries.
