A Yiddish Trio of Jewish Short Stories: Sukkat Shalom Lunch & Learn with Rachel Kamin What’s modern about Yiddish short stories? Join us to explore the works of three influential writers: S.Y. Abramovitch, Y.L. Peretz, and Sholom Aleichem.
Our conversations will be enriched by your participation, so please read the stories found in Classic Yiddish Stories of S.Y. Abramovitsh, Sholem Aleichem, and I.L. Peretz edited by Frieden, Gorelick & Wex in advance of each session. The collection is available online in hardcover, paperback, and Kindle and at several local public libraries.
